Ordering & Shipping

Where can I buy your books?
You can buy our books through major online retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and Booktopia in Australia, among others.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes — our distribution network provides global availability through these retailers. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and retailer.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery speed depends on the retailer you order from. In most cases, books are printed and shipped within a few business days, with delivery times varying by region and the shipping option you select.

Can I track my order?
Yes. Once shipped, you’ll get a tracking link from the retailer you ordered from. For help, contact that retailer’s support.

About the Books

What kind of books do you publish?
We create richly illustrated art books that reimagine history with a visual storytelling twist — blending speculative ideas, alternate histories, and modern design.

Are these books suitable for kids?
While not specifically designed for children, our books are exciting, visually engaging, and suitable for teens and older readers. They’re best appreciated by readers who enjoy alternate histories, world-building, and visual humor.

Does Epic Foundry Press only publish Viking humor?
No. We publish fully illustrated alternate-history art books, in addition to the Epic Moments in History humor series.

What formats are available?
Hardcover (8.25" × 11") — a premium hardcover edition featuring a larger page size and durable case-bound construction. Introduced in Silicon Valley Reimagined, this format is designed for richly illustrated titles in which larger artwork and enhanced presentation are integral to the reading experience.

Premium Paperback (8" × 10") — a higher-quality trade paperback with upgraded paper stock. This format debuts with the Viking humor books and is available worldwide through major retailers.

Deluxe Paperback (Crown Quarto, 7.44" × 9.69") — a series format released in the fall of 2025, distributed through Amazon and other online booksellers.

Will there be more books in the future?

Physical and Digital Editions

Do you sell eBooks now?
Yes. Epic Foundry Press titles are also available as eBooks.

Which titles are available today?

They are all available as physical books and as ebooks on Apple Books and Google Play Books.

How much are the eBooks?
$6.99 USD per title. (Retailers may show local currency and include regional VAT.)

Where can I read them?

Do the eBooks include all the artwork?
Yes. The digital editions preserve the full-page artwork and layouts. For the best experience, we recommend tablets or larger phones.

Do you offer print + eBook bundles?
Not at this time.

Library availability?
Print is available worldwide via Ingram’s network. We’re evaluating library ebook distribution; for now, ebooks are available only through retail channels.

EFP Apps

What is EFP Apps?
EFP Apps creates simple tools for artists, writers, designers, worldbuilders, and other curious minds. Our apps spark ideas, explore possibilities, and help creative thinking move in unexpected directions.

What kind of apps does EFP Apps make?
We make focused creative tools built around ideas like combination, consequence, constraint, variation, and discovery. Each app approaches creativity from a different angle without trying to do the creative work for you.

Are EFP Apps generative AI tools?
No. Our apps support your imagination, not replace it. They do not use generative AI or external AI services to create content for you.

Do EFP Apps require an internet connection?
Our apps are designed to work offline. Their core creative tools and content live on your device rather than depending on a remote service.

Where is my work stored?
When an app lets you save ideas or creations, it stores them locally on your device unless the app specifically states otherwise.

Does Epic Foundry Press collect information through EFP Apps?
No. EFP Apps does not collect, track, sell, or share your personal information.

Who are EFP Apps for?
Anyone who likes making things or imagining what could be. You might be developing a story, sketching a new world, designing a game, brainstorming a project, or simply exploring an idea for fun, to see where it leads.

What is the philosophy behind EFP Apps?
Creativity doesn’t always need a blank page—or an answer. Sometimes it needs a prompt, a constraint, an unexpected connection, or a good question. EFP Apps creates small tools that give your imagination somewhere interesting to begin.

Merchandise

Do you sell merchandise?
Yes. In addition to our illustrated books, we offer exclusive merchandise — including shirts and apparel inspired by our alternate-history titles and humor series.

Where can I buy Epic Foundry Press merchandise?
We sell all merchandise through our official Bonfire store, and we ship worldwide. Visit our Bonfire apparel store.

3D Objects and Collectibles

With a 3D printer, the worlds of Epic Foundry Press can move from page to physical form.

What are the 3D objects you offer?
We create 3D models inspired directly by the worlds and designs featured in our books — including vehicles, machines, and fictional artifacts brought to life as collectible pieces.

Are these physical products or digital files?
Most of our 3D offerings are provided as STL files, the standard format used for 3D printing. These files allow you to produce the objects yourself using a compatible 3D printer or a printing service. Select releases may also be offered as finished display pieces or kits, depending on the product.

How do the 3D models connect to the books?
Every model begins as a visual idea explored in a book. The books act as the design archive, while the 3D models are physical extensions of those ideas.

Some pieces represent specific designs seen on the page. Others expand the world further — introducing variations, future versions, or alternate interpretations that go beyond what appears in the book.

Do I need a 3D printer to use these?
Yes — to produce the models directly, you’ll need access to a 3D printer. Many customers use desktop printers at home, while others use online or local printing services.

Are these toys or display pieces?
These are display-oriented collectibles. They are designed with the same attention to form, silhouette, and detail as the original concept artwork and are intended for collectors, hobbyists, and design fans.

Do I need the book to understand the model?
No — each piece is designed to stand on its own. However, the books provide deeper context, visual storytelling, and a broader look at the world the object comes from.

Are the models beginner-friendly?
Our models are designed to be accessible, but some may require basic familiarity with 3D printing, including slicing software, material selection, and post-processing.

Are the models pre-colored or finished?
No. We provide STL files as raw models. The final look — including color, finish, and detailing — is up to you, similar to a model kit.

Are these part of a larger collection?
Yes. Many releases tie to specific book worlds, letting you build a growing physical collection that evolves alongside the published books.

Joseph Fortune is the collective creative signature of Epic Foundry Press — a name we use to honor the shared lineage of imagination that fuels every illustrated world we publish. Rather than a single author, Joseph Fortune represents countless human creators whose art, ideas, and curiosity live on through modern generative tools. At Epic Foundry Press, we use AI as a creative partner—a way to prototype, iterate, and visualize ideas at a pace uncommon in traditional publishing. Every book credited to Joseph Fortune reflects a collaboration between people, technology, and the timeless drive to ask “what if?”

Why do all Epic Foundry Press books use one pen name?
Using a single identity unifies our catalog under one creative umbrella. It allows us to explore wildly different worlds and tones while keeping every book instantly recognizable as part of the same imaginative lineage.

Is Joseph Fortune an AI?
No. Joseph Fortune is a publishing identity — not an algorithm. The name symbolizes the partnership between human creativity and modern tools. Every book begins with human vision, storytelling, and design; generative technology helps us bring those ideas to life faster and more vividly.

Are your books made with AI?
Yes — we use AI tools like ChatGPT and MidJourney as creative partners to rapidly prototype, visualize, and develop our stories. Every word, image, and layout is reviewed and refined by a human. We shape each concept, world, and visual style through hands-on creative direction, guided by human imagination and intentional design from start to finish.

Who creates the artwork and writing?
Epic Foundry Press generates the images and text using AI tools such as MidJourney and ChatGPT, with Epic Foundry Press serving as art director, editor, and final decision-maker. Every visual and story is shaped through a hands-on creative process, with AI acting as a collaborator, not the author.

Why did you start Epic Foundry Press?
Epic Foundry Press was founded to explore bold “what if” ideas — alternate histories, imagined technologies, and speculative worlds — through a design-first, modern publishing approach. We use 21st-century creative tools to craft high-quality books independently, outside the limits of traditional publishing.

What is the “Book Drop” project?

Some Epic Foundry Press books are occasionally left behind in public book exchanges, cafés, hotels, and community book depositories during travels around the world.

If you found one, you’ve discovered a traveling copy from this ongoing project.

The first book drop took place in Salzburg, Austria, in May 2026.
